Safety Cloud® by HAAS Alert is a real-time digital alerting service that warns motorists of emergency responders, roadside crews, and work zones ahead — delivered directly to drivers through in-vehicle infotainment displays and connected navigation apps.

When a Geotab-equipped fleet vehicle activates its warning lights — whether stationary on scene or actively moving through traffic — Safety Cloud automatically creates an alert and distributes it across its constantly-expanding network of vehicles and navigation applications. No additional action is required from the crew. Motorists receive clear warnings up to 30 seconds in advance, giving them time to slow down, move over, and make safer maneuvers. If a vehicle's warning lights are off, Safety Cloud does not send alerts.

Any fleet that creates a roadside hazard and uses warning lights to alert nearby motorists can benefit from Safety Cloud — including emergency responders, tow operators, DOT and maintenance crews, snow plows, and work zone crews.
